Beauty is every where, can you see it?

Every photo trip I take, I anticipate the beautiful Images I will bring back; the gorgeous flowing landscapes, the portraits that tells a thousand stories. Yet, once I arrive at my destination, I rarely see the images that I expected. That is, not until I look away from the predictable "views" and observe light as it dances with shadows, architecture in the reflection of windows or the supple curve of the hood of a car. I remind myself to stop trying to find beauty as defined by others but rather to see it – to turn around, look up, look down, look behind and catch the unexpected beauty that surrounds us in even the most simple of objects.
